What does your job entail?
Being a Project Manager in operations, I work to organise communication and collaboration between multiple departments, in an effort to successfully execute projects. At times that can mean coordinating with outside vendors, scheduling resources, taking meeting minutes, or simply checking tasks off to-do lists.
What do you most like about LGC?
The dedication I see in my co-workers to make the world a better place. During the pandemic, I have witnessed first-hand the strength and commitment my colleagues have put into supplying the world with critical diagnostic products. I’m inspired everyday by them.
Best advice for new employees?
Every person you meet at this company has developed unique skills and knowledge pertaining to their position. Try to learn as much as you can from everyone here.
What is your proudest moment at LGC?
I have had the privilege to help mentor two amazing people. Watching them both grow into the amazing supervisors they are today, is by far the most rewarding experience I could ask for. They’re intelligent, kind, and driven. I’m lucky I was given the opportunity to be their “Buddy” and wouldn’t be surprised if one day either of them becomes my boss!
