UFC Recognizes Informed Choice as an Accredited Certification Agency
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced the recognition of Informed Choice as an accredited certification agency. After an update to their Anti-Doping Policy in 2019, UFC athletes are directed to only use supplements tested and certified by an accredited certification agency.
Based on the policy, “Athletes will not receive an anti-doping policy violation if they can establish by clear and convincing evidence that their positive test was due to the contamination of a supplement certified by an accredited agency.” The recognition is a huge step for Informed Choice and our mission to minimize the risk of banned substance contamination within sports supplement products.
