Tessa, HR Associate / Executive Assistant
What is your current role at LGC?
My daily tasks include onsite HR support and working with the CDx and Shared Services teams to implement and maintain the LGC HR policies and procedures. I’m also an Executive Assistant to two members of the senior management team, so enjoy a variety of daily tasks which vary to support them in delivering different projects. This can be administration support to the sales team, operational or logistical support when shipping orders, or general delegate management tasks to support the Executive Leadership Team.

What do you most enjoy about your role?
My favourite part is the people I get to work with across the LGC teams; they are so focused and driven, so it is inspiring to work with people who are so committed to providing the best products and services possible. Everyone is working towards the same goals and will always go out of their way to support other employees.
What has been your proudest moment at LGC?
Seeing the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how quickly the company was able to react and adapt to the ‘new normal’ in a way that allowed the business to not only meet, but to surpass, all financial and business targets.
