Animal sports testing, medication and doping control
At LGC’s Fordham, Cambridgeshire laboratory in the UK, we apply science to protect the future of sport. We play a pivotal role in advancing both animal welfare and the integrity of animal sport.
We are long-term partners with the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), British Horseracing Authority, Greyhound Board of Great Britain, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB), Veterinary Defence Society (VDS), and a range of Sales Houses and Veterinary practices. Advice on the design and implementation of analytical drug testing programmes
We are committed to quality and integrity, employing extensive in-house quality assurance programmes and we are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited. We also participate in independent proficiency testing schemes such as those of the Association of Official Racing Chemists (AORC) and the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA).
