Animal sports testing, medication and doping control

At LGC’s Fordham, Cambridgeshire laboratory in the UK, we apply science to protect the future of sport. We play a pivotal role in advancing both animal welfare and the integrity of animal sport.

We are long-term partners with the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), British Horseracing Authority, Greyhound Board of Great Britain, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB), Veterinary Defence Society (VDS), and a range of Sales Houses and Veterinary practices. We are the central FEI laboratory and one of only 6 laboratories worldwide to be recognised as an International Federation of Horseracing authorities (IFHA) reference laboratory.
