Science Apprenticeships Open Day

Thursday 19th April 2018
Location: Fordham, Cambridgeshire

This is an opportunity for you and your families to visit our Fordham site and discover what a scientific apprenticeship at LGC is really like.

You will find out more about the academic qualifications you will receive from our training provider CSR Scientific Training, how to apply and how the recruitment process works.

You will also be able to meet some of our current science apprentices and people you would be working with.

Due to demand we will be holding two sessions, one at 16.00 and one at 18.30.

If you would like to attend please register your details here.

“LGC is committed to creating and inspiring a next generation of Scientists and Technicians through our Apprenticeship programmes. Since launching apprenticeships in 2011, 38 school and college leavers have successfully graduated with varying levels of qualifications. Some of these remain employed within our organisation, contributing positively to our core mission and values, whereas others have moved on to be successful within other businesses or to further studies.”

Derek Craston, Government Chemist and Chief Scientific Officer, LGC
