With more than 50 years'
experience in environmental science and consultancy, LGC is aware
of the environmental responsibilities placed upon those who operate
in a modern laboratory. Our environment policy focuses on the three
key areas of energy, materials and waste.
At LGC we seek to minimise the impact of our business operations
by adhering to statutory requirements and applying in-house
specialist skills. LGC adopts appropriate environmental practices
commensurate with a large diverse laboratory.
LGC's Environment Officer advises on and monitors compliance
with statutory requirements, best practice initiatives, management
of LGC's waste streams and ways to reduce LGC's environmental
impact.
