Why mobile security matters

  • Date:
  • 25 Aug 2016
  • Duration:
  • 2:30-3:00 BST - 30-45 minutes

The exponential development of technology in the last 10 years has allowed the relative layman to seize and utilise tools which were once only accessible by the technically adept.

This convenience has opened the door for ‘have a go hackers’ and cyber criminals allowing them a surprisingly easy access and worryingly intrusive control of devices. Consequently the versatility of mobile devices continues to raise security concerns in the light of a mounting evolution of ‘malicious software’ targeted at them.
