Applications
LGC is applying measurement solutions to a
range of industrial applications for our customers including:
- Predictive
toxicology – Developing new measurement techniques to improve
the reliability of data obtained using in-vitro cell based
assays.
- Tissue
engineering – Applying information-rich imaging technologies to
characterise product composition and map cell distribution during
manufacture and storage.
- Cell therapy – Applying monitoring techniques
to ensure robust quality control during manufacture of mammalian
cell products.
- Biomarker analysis – Applying a wide range of
advanced analytical and imaging tools for the discovery and
tracking of biomarkers during cell therapy product
development/manufacture.
- Pre-implantation diagnostics – Developing a package of single
cell gene and protein analysis tools to screen embryos prior to
in-vitro fertilisation.
- Forensic sciences – Applying laser microdissection microscopy
to isolate single cells from mixed cell population for DNA
profiling.
