LGC provides a range of measurement products and services which underpin the safety, health and security of the public, including reference materials and proficiency testing, Genomics reagents and instrumentation, and expert sample analysis and interpretation. Our customers are across a number of end markets including Pharmaceuticals, Agricultural Biotechnology, Food, Environment, Government and Academia.
In our Genomics Division, we use our expertise in DNA extraction (Over 100 million DNA tests performed on 1 million human, plant and animal samples per year), genotyping, sequencing and PCR to enable scientists and companies to feed, cure and protect the world’s population. We supply genomic services from our UK, Germany and US laboratories, to global customers in agricultural biotechnology, molecular diagnostics, research, pharma/biotech, applied and clinical markets.

Job purpose:
The Master Data Manager role is an opportunity to play a key part in the Genomics Division’s eCommerce and Back Office transformation programs. 
Working with stakeholders across the division the post holder will be responsible for the policies and processes relating to the management and maintenance of the divisions master data across a range of business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Development and implementation of policies and processes for the effective management of the divisions master product and customer data.
  • Management overview of the divisions master data throughout the customer and product life cycle across a range of applications.
  • Act as the divisions subject matter expert on master data management.
 Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, applicants should note that security clearance may be required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have three years continuous residency in the UK. Criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance.
This role may in addition require random alcohol/drug screening.
