Roles at LGC

Apprentices – we launched our first laboratory technician apprenticeship scheme within our Forensics division in 2011, and it has now expanded into other business sectors. Successful completion of the scheme brings a scientifically-recognised professional qualification.

Managers – from supervisors to the senior management team, we are looking for aspiring leaders who we can promote from within.

Sales people – working with our customers, you would have opportunities to use your scientific knowledge and expertise to develop and find solutions to benefit both customers and our own business needs.

Scientists – there is a comprehensive range of opportunities across all business sectors, from trainee analysts to senior scientists. You could work within your specialism with increasing opportunities to develop into other areas and fields of expertise.

Stores – you could join our customer support service, providing maintenance of company products and despatch across the globe.

Support function roles – we have a range of professional career opportunities at administrative and management/senior management levels within HR, finance, marketing, IT, legal, business development, communications and design, procurement and facilities.
