Craston, LGC Chief Scientific Officer
Derek Craston joined the LGC Board on 1
February 2012 as LGC Chief Scientific Officer. He will
continue with his existing roles as Government Chemist and
Managing Director of LGC Science & Technology.
Derek's responsibilities as CSO will include
leading the scientific effort of the company, coordinating science
development across the business, and developing our scientific
partnerships for research, discovery and
innovation. This appointment significantly strengthens
the scientific advice available to the Board, and underpins the
continued Board commitment to the development of the LGC
Group's scientific reputation.
