Ray Ah-Sun, Chairman of LGC India and LGC
China
Ray Ah-Sun joined LGC in December 1994 following a career with
Shell International. Until his semi-retirement in September 2010,
he led the Group's business development activities, including
alliances, mergers, acquisitions and disposals. He was a director
of the outsourced laboratories of the UK Medicines and Healthcare
products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the British Pharmacopoeia.
Ray was Chairman of LGC India and LGC China. He was a member of
LGC's Executive Leadership Team.
Since October 2010, Ray has acted as an adviser to LGC Group on
a range of strategic and operational issues. He continues to be
Chairman of LGC India and LGC China.
